Question
Chapter 9.3, Problem 1MC
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The differences between haploid and diploid nuclei.
Introduction:
The specialized diploid germ cells in ovaries and testes undergo meiosis to form haploid gametes or sex cells. The gametes from both the parents combine to form a diploid zygote by the process of fertilization. The zygote with two complete sets of chromosomes divides after fertilization by mitosis.
