M2 Unit 29
Different retailing businesses have very different distribution methods based on the types of product that they sell, some arguably more effectively than others.
As mentioned in an earlier assignment, there are three main types of distribution channels. The first is the channel that goes from the producer, then to the wholesaler, then to the retailer or sells to the consumer. The second channel starts with the producer who sells straight to the retailer, who then sells to the consumer. The third channel goes directly from the producer to the consumer. Channels one and two are classed as indirect marketing channels, whereas channel three is a direct marketing channel as it goes straight from producer to consumer.

Then they will prepare the food ready to cook it and will store the prepared ingredients safely at the correct temperature. They will then wait for the person at the end of the chain – the consumer – to come to the restaurant to cook it for them. This is good for the producer because money will track back to them through the restaurant gaining the money from selling the meals. The money goes into the restaurant from customers pockets, and then the restaurant will use a portion of this money to re-purchase some supplies from the producer. This is when a good working relationship will develop between them as they will gain more sales and earn more money back.
Continuing with a food retailer, Greggs or a restaurant will want to get fresher ingredients than other retailers so that they can make sure they produce all of their products to be as fresh as can be. This can be done for example by Gregg’s own in-store bakeries having their ingredients delivered in the morning and then they bake them the same morning to make sure they are as fresh as possible. When they order the ingredients from the producers they will have to check that the supplier is storing the produce correctly before purchasing, otherwise they may purchase products that could be unsuitable for them to use and if they did use them, could create problems for them in the future. A good example of this could be

I would like to start-up a business where I can learn from others about their culture and to see how different cultures will be with each other. Amsterdam is a big city with a shortage of hotels. That brings me to an idea: starting a hotel business.
Research indicates that as many as 13% [Smith 2005] of primary care visits have missing clinical information. A patient's health information is potentially distributed across a wide range of locations including their general practitioner, hospitals, imaging centers, specialists and allied health practices.
Distribution channels are organized in several ways: conventional, vertical, horizontal and multichannel (Kern R. 2013). Some of these organizational methods are more structured than others. When a distribution channel deals with more than one independent producer, such as wholesalers and retailers, the channel is known as a conventional distribution channel. (Kern R. 2013) These channels are not normally known to be strong and typically don’t give the customer the quality of product that they deserve. In a vertical marketing system, the retailers, wholesalers and producers, join forces to create a unified front, promoting an individual product (Kern R. 2013). Vertical distribution channels are stronger than the conventional distribution channels because all of the companies involved carry some of the load of power. (Kern R. 2013) In a horizontal distribution channel, companies join up and combine all of their finances and resources, in order to take on more than one company or product (Kern R. 2013). A multichannel distribution channel is where a large corporation uses two or more marketing channels to better target their desired customer segments (Kern R.

A resident's name or conditions cannot be discussed with anyone other than the care team. Photos and other personal information can't be shared on social media sites and to maintain privacy and emails containing a resident's personal should not be sent because there is a possibility the email will be sent to the wrong person or someone may have access to your account. Information regarding a resident should only be discussed in person to ensure that only the necessary personnel know. When seeing a resident in public, you should not mention knowing them from a care facility in case they wish to keep that a secret from the person they may be with.
The main features of legislation relating to contracts of employment are outlined in the terms and conditions within a contract of employment. Information about this is included in the handbook for the NJC currently known as the Green Book. Contracts help to protect the rights and responsibilities of both the employer and the employee. Contracts must contain general information about the employee and the employment in which they have been employed: this includes information on the employee's name, date of commencement of employment, position appointed ,employment conditions, rights and responsibilities of the employee, expected duties and information on grade and point scale in relation to pay. Employees are expected by law to follow the terms set out in their contract until employment is terminated by either party.
Poverty also influences our responses to health and illness. The level of income below that which people cannot afford a minimum, nutritionally adequate diet, suitable and secure housing, heating and hot water, and beds to sleep on.

Quantitative data can be described as measurable factual and accurate data, i.e. sales, volumes and costs. Can be developed with historic records. Quantative data is more objective rather than subjective focusing on key issues.

I will also be including the advantages and disadvantages of these, also the participants’ strengths and areas where they can improve on.
Tesco has a good progress and their strategy is made up of of five elements:
Recipes and menus are important tools for sales and the development of a production plan in any outlet or establishment. A menu is a list a certain types of food items and beverages that are offered by establishments to their consumers for a particular period of time which can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Planning of recipes and menus is important because it allows establishments and outlets to think ahead in terms of food production planning. It also makes maximum use of of the available resources which include food in season, tools, equipment, fuel, food supplies and budgetary allocations. Menus and recipes give important insights about the planning aspects of a facility, the kind of staff that is required, raw materials needed and the equipment to be used. It is therefore important to note that recipe and menu planning is a continuous ,process that
