A04 - Evaluate outcomes of your health promotion
I completed the health promotion and had personal achievements, I improved my confidence levels in conducting this health promotion as I was able to stand in front of a large number of individuals and speak loudly and clearly, I was unable to do this previously and was worrying about it beforehand. Another personal achievement was that I was able to work well within a team and effectively produce a health promotion to deliver to the participants. I was able to gain more knowledge on the topic myself, I knew a fair bit about this certain topic but I believed that I increased my knowledge. We did this by allocating tasks to each individual after deciding our aims and objectives. There was also a participants achievement, I believe that in doing the health promotion we were able to give the participants confidence if they were to conduct a similar promotion.
The main aim of our promotion was to inform

I believe that the objective was not met due to the fact that we did not present specific information of long term and short term effects within the PowerPoint to give to the participants, instead we just gave them information on the general effects of smoking. The knowledge present was not shared successfully enough for the participants to memorize the information given. If I was to repeat this health promotion again I would not change the objective itself but I would ensure that the PowerPoint specified the information exactly, such as having a slide dedicated to long term effects and short term effects separately. This would ensure that this objective was met
Motivation is having a reason or reasons to act/behave in a particular way. It creates “drive” in people whether it is in pursuit of a goal, or the need to complete an activity. It produces enthusiasm and a willingness to achieve in both a work environment and in your personal life. Motivation can be increased and decreased in line with the incentives on offer.
Importance of teamwork is that when a team works well together they tend to understand their team members strengths and weaknesses. Strong teamwork can benefit from the team members and I say this because they become more capable at splitting up tasks so that they are accomplished by the members of the team that are more highly qualified. If businesses didn’t have strong teamwork within their business, it could make everything a lot harder for managers of the business to settle certain staff members, whom can fulfil tasks at their incomparable standard.
According to Rural Health Information Hub (2017), the fundamental purpose of disease prevention is to keep individuals healthy. One implements health promotion interventions in an effort to promote healthy behaviors and to decrease the risks of developing chronic illnesses (RHIH, 2017). According to the ADA (2016) individuals that participate in health promotion behaviors are more likely to have better health outcomes compared to those who do not. The EBP change project has shown that educating patients with prediabetes can increase diabetes knowledge and promote an increase in health promotion behaviors. The EBP change project outcome has indicated that participants who completed the 6-week diabetes education program were able to increase their knowledge regarding type 2 diabetes. Therefore, with the positive outcome of the EBP change project, the EBP change project site can incorporate certain aspects of the diabetes education program into their patient education to increase diabetes knowledge, picking healthier food options and participants in activities that would increase physical fitness.
These snacks are offered freely and never forced upon a child. We’re not to bring in unhealthy snacks for ourselves or eat in front of the children, and if we have unhealthy food it must be kept in a cupboard hidden and put away.
The main features of legislation relating to contracts of employment are outlined in the terms and conditions within a contract of employment. Information about this is included in the handbook for the NJC currently known as the Green Book. Contracts help to protect the rights and responsibilities of both the employer and the employee. Contracts must contain general information about the employee and the employment in which they have been employed: this includes information on the employee's name, date of commencement of employment, position appointed ,employment conditions, rights and responsibilities of the employee, expected duties and information on grade and point scale in relation to pay. Employees are expected by law to follow the terms set out in their contract until employment is terminated by either party.

The Social Model of disability came about through the disability movement and other organisation campaigning for equal rights, opportunities and choices for disabled people. The social model of disability recognises that any problem of disability are created by society and its institution and that The Discrimination Acts are tools to help to improve the response of society to disability, also a wheel chair user is not hampered by their disability but by lack of adequate access to buildings. The social model may impact upon our practise as we would provide inclusive environments as a starting point for all children. The Scope website stated ‘The social model of disability says that disability is caused by the way

When a business breaches a contract, serious consequences can occur resulting in damages and losses. An expected service or agreement that is not complied with impacts everyone involved. A breach of contract can reduce earnings while also potentially harming future profits. It also puts a company’s value at risk if it cannot satisfy demands for products or meet deadlines. Often, monetary damages result from breach of contract claims. Claims are most often made by party who met its requirements against the party it alleges has not. Damages involved are typically lost revenues, sales impacts involve claims for lost value, and added costs resulting from the breach. Damages estimates are made using historical information and projections to support a plaintiff’s claim
Identifying needs Identifying needs is a type of function of research. Identifying needs is when any type of information is collected for research to help people with their needs. This may include if a patient has been referred to a health and social care environment such as hospital, they would usually get a medical history based on the past and current health statues of the patient. This would be beneficial to the doctors as it will help them to make the patient have examinations based on their health condition. Highlighting gaps in provision
Tesco has a good progress and their strategy is made up of of five elements:
