5.How were Jackson's views concerning the Indians "little different" from those of most white Americans? What was the meaning of "removal?" Jackson’s purpose in the indian removal act was to preserve indian culture by moving them away from the growing caucasian influence in their lives. This “removal” wasn’t so much for the Americans benefit as it was the Indians. Hypothetically the indians culture would have been reserved and there would probably be a state or two today solely of indians... but as it turns out we know that didn’t happen. 6.Why was the outcome of the Seminole War different from that of the Trail of Tears? Because the indians there won and did not fall for the lets move away junk. Because they stayed, fought and won they earned the right to live there. And they did.
