Kinetic Energy
In physics, an object that is in motion is said to have kinetic energy. The following formula can be used to determine a moving object’s kinetic energy:
The variables in the formula are as follows: KE is the kinetic energy, m is the object’s mass in kilograms, and v is the object’s velocity, in meters per second.
Write a function named kineticEnergy that accepts an object’s mass (in kilograms) and velocity (in meters per second) as arguments. The function should return the amount of kinetic energy that the object has. Demonstrate the function by calling it in a

The buoyancy force is given by this formula: B=pgV Bisthebuoyancyforce( lbforN).isthefluiddensity( slug/f t 3 orkg/ m 3 ).gistheaccelerationcausedbygravity( 32.2ft/se c 2 or9.8m/ s 2 ).Vistheobjectsvolume( f t 3 or m 3 ). a. Using this formula, write a function named buoyantForce(double ro, double vol, int units) that accepts a fluid density, the volume of an object placed in the fluid, and the units to be used(1=U.S.Customaryunits,2=metricunits), and returns the buoyancy force exerted on the object. b. If this quantity is positive, the function calculates A. If the quantity is negative, a, b, and c do not form a triangle, and the function should set A=1. The value of A should be returned by the function.arrow_forward
- (General math) a. Write a function named rightTriangle() that accepts the lengths of two sides of a right triangle as the arguments a and b. The subroutine should determine and return the hypotenuse, c, of the triangle. (Hint:UsePythagorastheorem,c2=a2+b2.) b. Include the function written for Exercise 4a in a working program. The main() function should call rightTriangle() correctly and display the value the function returns.arrow_forwardb - Falling Distance When an object is falling because of gravity, the following formula can be used to determine the distance the object falls in a specific time period: d = 1/2 gt2 The variables in the formula are as follows: d is the distance in meters, g is 9.8, and t is the amount of time, in seconds, that the object has been falling. Write a function named fallingDistance that accepts an object’s falling time (in seconds) as an argument. The function should return the distance, in meters, that the object has fallen during that time interval. Write a program that demonstrates the function by calling it in a loop that passes the values 1 through 10 as arguments and displays the return valuearrow_forwardIn physics, an object that is in motion is said to have kinetic energy. The following formula can be used to determine a moving object’s kinetic energy:KE=12mv2The variables in the formula are as follows: KE is the kinetic energy, m is the object’s mass in kilograms, and v is the object’s velocity in meters per second. Write a function named kinetic_energy that accepts an object’s mass (in kilograms) and velocity (in meters per second) as arguments. The function should return the amount of kinetic energy that the object has. Write a program that asks the user to enter values for mass andvelocity, then calls the kinetic_energy function to get the object’s kinetic energy.arrow_forward

- python" You have an Internet connection with a download speed of 41 Megabits per second (Mbps) and you want to calculate how long it will take to download a files based on their size. Write a function named "download_time" that takes an integer as a parameter. The parameter represents the size of a file in Gigabytes that you want to download. The function should return the number of seconds it will take to download that file if your download speed is 41 Megabits per second. To convert the file size from Gigabytes to Megabits remember that 1 Gigabyte equals 1000 Megabytes and that 1 Megabyte equals 8 Megabits.arrow_forwardPython XYZ store plans to give a festival discount to its customers.
